Land Management Plans

The responsible authority (i.e. council, DSE) may request a Land Management Plan if an action will result in the removal of native vegetation or fauna habitat.

A Land Management Plan typically outlines actions to improve, protect or generate native vegetation or fauna habitat within a particular area within specific timeframes.

Land Management Plans can include:

  • Pest animal and plant control methods.
  • Native vegetation planting lists, densities and methods.
  • Timeframes and costs.
  • Responsible persons and monitoring requirements.
