Ecological Research

Public or private industry may request Ecological Research in order to scientifically monitor fauna populations or vegetation communities such as wetlands and grasslands.

Ecological Research is undertaken through the development and implementation of scientifically sound survey methodologies and techniques. Ecological Research undertaken by Beacon Ecological includes:

  • Quadrat surveys within grasslands to record flora species richness and diversity.
  • Transect surveys within wetlands to monitor weed cover and diversity between seasons.
  • Quadrat surveys to monitor vegetation change in response to fire.
